Damn DRM!!

For me there is almost nothing worse then joining a site, getting all exited by the content, downloading a video and then going to play it only to be asked for my login information again. I don’t mind typing it in, the problem is that when that happens it usually means that the movies are DRM protected, which in turn means that they are only watchable while I remain a member of the site. I hate this. I mean I’ve paid for my membership I should be able to have the videos for as long as I want. And what is worse is that the sites are never up front about it. You never see a big banner saying “Our Movies Are DRM Protected”. No, it’s not until you have paid for your membership and downloaded a clip that you find out. So read the reviews first, if for nothing else then to at least see if the movies are DRM protected before you go and get a very unpleasant surprise.
